Royal Ascot is at Ascot Racecourse, from 16th to 20th June 2009.

ASCOT, and especially its royal meeting, has always been a special event in the racing and social calendar. With a full renovation completed recently, Ascot now offers an unrivalled day's racing.

The nearby Berkshire countryside is home to some of the finest stables in British horse racing. Top trainers have chosen Lambourn Downs as their base to produce generations of champions.

NEWBURY Racecourse hosts some of the very best horse racing both on the flat and National Hunt. The calendar includes the famous Hennessy Cognac Gold Cup, the Juddmonte Lockinge, a Ladies Day in August and a summer season of top-class racing, including three superb evening meetings.

The Hennessy Cognac Gold Cup Meeting will be held on 27th to 29th November 2008.

The charming Thames-side course at WINDSOR is enormously popular with race-goers. It hosts no less than 29 meetings from April through to December, 17 of which are their famous Monday evening meetings – great, great fun. One rather unique feature of this venue is the arrival by boat from Windsor town – not to be missed!

Lambourn is an excellent base from which to attend these events, and return at the end of the day to enjoy champagne after having successfully backed a handful of winners!
